Calling all Corso fans who shop (or have the option to shop) at Asda!

Asda are running a 'pet savings event' until 16th Jan with chews, little blankets, toys and other useful things with excellent discounts. The BCCS and FOCC are appealing to all Cane Corso fans to use this event to help us build up a great 'store cupboard' of products to help our foster dogs throughout 2010...

TROY HAS GONE TO HIS NEW HOME! Many thanks to all the FOCC members who supported Troy, but especially Charlie and Alison who were so enthusiastic and helpful, and the team at Dogsblog.com

Troy is a wonderful Corso cross something (Lab, Presa, Bag of whelks...). He started out at the Mayhew in London and was then transferred to Battersea under a longer term care scheme until his owner could be contacted again, sadly his owner never returned. He is now in home foster care with the BCCS who would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone involved in his care.

Troy is a HUGE boy, weighing in at 57 kilos and very tall and strong. Despite that he is an absolute joy to have in the house and is very easy to live with, sleeping happily in his crate in between walks and snacks.

An FOCC puppy owner discovered whilst looking for pet insurance for her beloved Cane Corso boy, that MORETH>N insurance were refusing to insure the breed and actually had them listed on their website as FIGHTING DOGS SUCH AS THE CANE CORSO!

Corso forever homes wanted!

Do you have what it takes to give a Corso who has found themselves homeless a new start?

The FOCC and BCCS are looking for new owners who are desperate for a Corso in their lives, but would prefer not to go through the process of training a puppy, or find the initial purchase price inhibiting (please remember here that Corsos can be expensive to maintain too and vets bills should be part of your financial decision).

Here at the FOCC we are currently experiencing a very high number of Cane Corso's that have come into the rescue system and who are now desperately looking for either foster-care places or loving forever homes.
